The Client
A popular US based eStore selling furniture built on Magento.
Project requirements:
The client’s product data was extremely elaborate and complex. The client’s eCommerce Store sold hundreds of different kinds of furniture. Each furniture type, in turn, was divided into scores of sub-types. The client wanted his products categorized in a manner that a shopper will have no problem in finding a particular type of furniture or its many variants. Besides, there were other requirements like optimizing all the product data, improving the quality of the product images, accurately entering the product attributes, creating unique product descriptions and uploading product reviews.
The Client
An Australia based eCommerce Store selling apparel, kitchenware and electronic goods
Project requirements:
The client offered for sale about 50,000 products on his eCommerce Store. Some of the top brands were represented in his product range. However, for some time, his eCommerce Store had been sliding down the page ranks. After some investigation, the client traced the reason down to the lack of uniqueness of most of his product descriptions. They had been copied from the manufacturers’ websites and were costing the client a lot of precious business. Our first brief was to thoroughly review ALL the product descriptions and identify the ones which were not original. Following this, we were to create original, key word rich descriptions for each of them.
The Client
A US based eCommerce Store selling high-end jewelry and watches by leading manufacturers of luxury accessories
Project requirements:
Our client sold premium, high value products and catered to the upper crust of the market. He wanted the look of his eCommerce Store’s website to be in consonance with the kind of products he sold. In other words, he wanted his eCommerce Store’s appearance to betray a touch of class. He, thus, wanted only very high quality product images to be uploaded on his website. Besides, he wanted the product images to accurately convey the design and even the minutest features of a ring, necklace or watch. Some of the images he had sourced from the manufacturers’ websites were of indifferent quality in terms of color and resolution. The rest of the images, shot in-house, were somewhat better, but they greatly varied in lighting, color and contrast. Many of the frames had been composed poorly and had jarring, distracting backgrounds. Our client wanted an image editing vendor to rid his product images of all these handicaps and make them worthy of his eCommerce Store’s premium profile.
The Client
A UK based Online Store selling lighting, furniture and home appliances
Project requirements:
Our client offered a large range of lighting, furniture and home appliances produced by some top manufacturers in Europe. For some time, however, he had noticed a steep decline in the conversion rate of his eCommerce Store. Only about 0.5% of the people visiting his eCommerce Store were buying anything from it. This was an alarming six times less than the average conversion rate of eCommerce sites which stands at 3%. Nonplussed, our client began investigating and soon realized that it was due to ambiguities, gaps and duplication in product data. A lot of time sensitive information had lapsed too. The integrity of his product data, thus, was seriously marred. Apparently, his eCommerce Store’s product data was not inspiring confidence in shoppers, it was just not comprehensive enough to lead them to the checkout page.
